Douglas C. Smith
Since 1979, Bay City attorney Douglas C. Smith has defended physicians, their professional corporations, hospitals and other health care specialists in hundreds of complex medical malpractice lawsuits, in addition to defending automobile negligence, legal malpractice and business litigation cases. Smith has tried more than 70 cases, including over 60 jury trials, in the Michigan counties of Bay, Saginaw, Midland, Genesee, Emmet, Sanilac, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Alpena, Arenac, Tuscola, Huron, Iosco, Gratiot and Lapeer, as well as the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Northern Division.
